Finished, or at least finished enough for a sketchbook. I laid in some more watercolor washes then switched over to casein for the leaf pile, stray leaves, and to add some interest to the big bright tree. Casein is still very new to me, so I was just using it to add opaqueness. Looking forward to trying it exclusively on another scene.

Some more progress
A few more watercolor washes on this one as I haven’t felt like getting the casein out yet.
In progress Leesburg street
I am getting started on a small painting of a street in Leesburg. I like the yellow house on the side when I see it on weekend mornings. I am planning to finish this in casein, but first some watercolor washes. Cobalt blue, brown madder, yellow ochre, ivory black.
