I need to experiment more. Here’s a quick test of what happens when you charge a dark wash of indigo (winsor and newton) with titanium white gouache. I mixed a little burnt sienna into the bottom to get the color it is now. When it dries I will sort out what to do next–maybe throw in some rocks and sea spray. Or maybe nothing and just try another. I like the effect.
